"Pay me enough, and I'll move the Empire State Building."
Discovery Channel sent Catherine off on a mission to plumb the secrets of successfully moving a lighthouse away from the encroaching Atlantic, relocating a fragile historic building from the middle of a sea of traffic, and where she so enjoyed directing the filming of a sinking ship. Ah, the fun. Wrote and directed this full-length television documentary for Disocvery Channel's 'Frontiers of Construction' series filmed in multiple locations in the USA.

The Lodge
A place of refuge in an unhealthy storm (radio treatment - audio only)
I went back to The Lodge, to tell the stories of 4 people in this haven where people with cancer from across the province can stay, for free, during treatment, and find an instant support group. Just like I did.

The Runaway Bridge
Knocked loose by the rising waters.
The spring breakup arrived with more than its usual force. The fast-rising Canaan River tore the Cherryvale Bridge from its moorings and sent it rushing down river, half the town giving chase. See what happened next!

Distilled Anger
N.S., not N.B., is the toast of whiskey distillers
Making moonshine mainstream in New Brunswick involves a tangle of rules that even the rules makers don't fully understand. A hop, skip and a jump away in Nova Scotia, distillers are doing a booming business.

“Ooh, Ah, Samosa!”
A rap tribute to one tasty triangle.
It was a high school project by two academically minded students who were gobsmacked at the joy their little rap brought to their peers, and to one samosa-loving reporter.
Cannabis Rules

Using the biggest joints you have ever seen... an explanation of the rules being debated BEFORE it became legal. My colleagues chuckled.
